The producer made a few changes to the features and parts of this vacuum with the aim to make the product more effective. And it worked. The new specs are better, making it not only more efficient than the earlier models but also more usable. The brain behind Raycop vacuums is a medical doctor, and you can expect this latest machine to have the best of specs when it comes to the elimination of allergens and different microscopic organisms.

Cleaning/Suction Power

It’s a 300W cleaning machine that features strong suction and a rapidly spinning and pulsating brush. Unlike the earlier models that used separate pads for the vibrations, the RN features rotating brush that also vibrates. That makes it three times more effective at removing hair, dust and other allergens than your conventional vacuum cleaner. The brush makes 18,000 vibrations every minute and produces unrivaled excitation of dirt. In addition to that, the Raycop RN uses an ultraviolet light lamp to kill the microorganisms harbored by the fabrics in your home. According to the manufacturer, the vacuum achieves the following levels of efficiency when being used to clean various fabric surfaces:

With the is amount if power, the vacuum can achieve an impressive level of suction. The unit is compact, and air doesn’t have a long distance to travel which allows the manufacturer to optimize the suction power.

Dust Capacity

The device is mainly designed to clean mattresses, heavy and light bedcovers, pillows, cushions, and various other fabrics items. These surfaces do not normally have a lot of dirt to be picked up. As a result, the Raycop RN features a small dust box that stores the little dust that it suctions up. The bin is reusable after you’ve emptied and washed it which does not frequently occur as there is usually not much dirt to be picked up. The manufacturer recommends frequent emptying and washing of the dust box filter, though, as clogging can cause suction to drop or the unit to overheat and cause other problems.

Filtration Efficiency

The manufacturer intended the Raycop RN to protect you from allergies which meant an efficient system to trap the tiniest of allergens. Apart from the ability of the UV lamp to kill microorganisms, the filtration level is excellent. It is a two-step system that consists of a conventional filter for the dust box and a HEPA one for the exhaust hair. The dust box filter ensures hairs and other particles don’t pass through while the exhaust HEPA filter traps 99.99 percent of the allergens picked up in the suction path. With this level of filtration, the Raycop RN is safe to use even if you suffer from asthma or any other type of allergy. The UV lamp is adequately covered to protect you from the UV light rays, with the exposure being restricted only to the area being cleaned. For this, the vacuum utilizes sensors that detect the presence or absence of the surface being cleaned.

It comes with what the producer calls 2-stage filtration, and which consists of two filters; a standard filter for the dustbin and a HEPA one for the air coming out of the unit. HEPA filters are capable of holding back 99.97 percent of allergens and which are as tiny as 0.3 microns. Maintaining the Raycop RN is no hassle. The filters are easily accessible for cleaning. Besides that, you get alerts when they need to be changed. According to the manufacturer, the standard filter can serve for 6 months of regular vacuuming before it requires to be changed.
