What We Don’t Like About BISSELL Garage Pro Vacuum
A big downside of this vacuum is its servicing. If you need it repaired, only a few locations will do so under the Bissell warranty.
Replacing a filter can be frustrating if you’re not familiar with its spring loading for easy access.
We found the hose is not very durable, so you might want to upgrade that in time.

What We Don’t Like About GarageVac Wall Mounted Garage Vacuum
Despite its small size, or strangely even because of it, its design means that it’s not the most convenient when detached from the wall.
Easy to hang and easy to use but its suction is compromised by its size and could be better.

Its oversized drain makes it easy to empty the vacuum of all the liquids and water you collect.
It comes with an easily installed wall mount. Included are a range of accessories such as a gulper nozzle, HEPA filter bag, replacement filters, and an accessory bag to store everything.
What We Don’t Like About CRAFTSMAN Wet/Dry Vacuum
CRAFTSMAN Wet/Dry came without any assembly instructions.
In blower mode, it doesn’t perform as well as when it’s a vac. Although even then, for some debris we had to go over it a few times.
For increased versatility, we’d have liked it to have wheels for mobility when taking off the wall to use on the floor.
PROS
- Hose is long enough where it can stay on the wall while using it
- Can be easily removed from the wall and carried to other locations throughout the home
- Cleaning it is easy and convenient and removing and rinsing the filter was effortless

It has a larger than average capacity at 7 gallons, with similarly very large dust bag. So you don’t have to empty or change it as much as some of its competitors.

There’s even an appealing 7 color options available.
What We Don’t Like About VacuMaid GV30Pro Garage Vacuum
It’s only for dry dirt as standard, and not intended to pick up any kind of liquid without the wet pick-up kit attachment, sold separately.
VacuMaid GV30PRO may weigh only 17lb, but its shape and wheel-less design greatly reduce mobility.
Also, it’s not a real HEPA bag for the filtration system. And of course, you have the additional on-going cost of buying additional dirtbags. Although you can reduce this by buying several at a time.

- Installation was a simple and straight forward
- Metal telescopic wand, with a ratcheting mechanism so you only have a short piece of tube to store

It can handle wet as well as dry messes and can easily be converted into a blower, to take care of leaves too. Combined with its lightweight portability, this makes it nicely versatile.
Its basic cleaning range is 18ft, but with the help of the two included extension wands and other useful tools, it should take care of an average workshop’s cleaning needs.
Very reasonably priced, this makes this low-cost garage vacuum one of the best options for a buyer on a small budget.
Features
- HP: 4 Peak
- Capacity: 5-gallon
- Weight: 17lb
- Hose length: 6ft
- Power cord: 18ft
What We Like About SHOP VAC CORP Wall Mounted Vacuum
The 5-gallon canister is an excellent capacity when you consider its overall compact size. This makes it nicely convenient. As does its space-saving wall mount, which is easy to install.
Just as easily, you can remove it from the wall bracket for portable use. It has a top carrying handle and is lightweight, which adds to its mobility.
It’s a vacuum with easy on-going servicing and maintenance, and its affordability extends to the reasonable cost of its replacement filters.

What We Don’t Like About SHOP VAC CORP Wall Mounted Vacuum
The suction power may not be top of the range, but it is a budget-friendly model after all, so it performs adequately enough, certainly for its price range.
Where it does fall down, even for the price, is in its cleaning range, which you may too limited.
We also found SHOP VAC CORP Wall Mounted Vacuum to be surprisingly noisy for its only modest size motor.
PROS
- When conveniently mounted, this vac takes up not much room at all
- Easy wall-mounting handy attachments make for an overall good machine
- It won’t disappoint you with its dry and wet cleaning abilities
- Comes with a good value accessories package
CONS
- The hose is stiff and doesn’t come with anything to hang it on
- Very small cleaning range, which wasn’t enough to cover all corners of the garage
- Suction power may disappoint after a while

9. Vacmaster Wet/Dry Vacuum
Product Highlights
Vacmaster Wet/Dry Vacuum has a dual-turbo, 5 Peak Horse Power motor, which with its 5- gallon canister makes it a serious contender.
Yet weighing 23lb, it still easily detaches from the wall to be carried around comfortably. It has a 21 ft long hose and 20ft power cord, which combined give you a 40-feet cleaning range, without having to move the vacuum around. And if you need to, the onboard storage can carry all its accessories with the vacuum.
This makes this Vacmaster model ideal for detailing your car, it even comes with a dust nozzle, without having to move it inside your garage from the driveway. It has a blower function, that’ll let you take care of your leaves there too.
Vacmaster Wet/Dry is a great choice for an all-round garage vacuum, which offers impressive power, whilst consuming relatively less electricity, and comes with a long cord and hose for great convenience and flexibility.
We think that you won’t be disappointed!
Features
- HP: 5 Peak
- Capacity: 5-gallon
- Weight: 23lb
- Hose length: 21ft
- Power cord: 20ft
What We Like About Vacmaster Wet/Dry Vacuum
Being such a powerful vacuum, you’d think that it would consume a lot of electricity. However, even when operating on peak capacity, it uses less power on average than its competitors in the market.
Vacmaster Wet/Dry Vacuum also produces less noise compared to many of its rivals. It comes with a noise diffuser to lower the loud pitching sound.
It’s two hoses of 10 and 11 feet are wider than the norm with their 1.8” diameter, making blockages less likely. If they do, the blower function will get rid of them.
There’s also a variety of other tools for all your cleaning needs in your garage, shop, home, or work. Included are two extension wands, a remote-control handle, a car nozzle, a floor brush with a squeegee nozzle, a dust brush, crevice tool, that can be stored in its onboard tool caddy.
What We Don’t Like About Vacmaster Wet/Dry Vacuum
We found a few, what we’d call, design faults.
Most seriously, the electrical cord is not grounded, so is a concern when utilizing it to pump or contain water.
Vacmaster Wet/Dry has a neat-looking remote-control. The connection to the vac is by Bluetooth. It’s a great idea too. But we found the connection between the two to be temperamental and so the vacuum was sometimes unresponsive.
And we thought that the exhaust vent could be better placed rather than blowing out downwards.
PROS
- Setup is easy and the device seems to be well-engineered
- Hose is long enough where it can stay on the wall while using it
- The suction doesn’t get low unless the hose gets clogged, which was rare
- Little buckets that attach make it easy to store the attachments
CONS
- The adapter popped off of the expandable hose
- Exhaust blows down onto the floor that you’re trying to clean, making it dirty again as you do so!
- The battery for the remote was included, but unfortunately is a non-standard model that will have to be sought out especially when it needs replacing

10. Vacmaster Professional Wet/Dry Vacuum
Product Highlights
Vacmaster Professional Wet/Dry Vacuum is from their ‘Beast’ model range. With a name like that, you’d expect some serious performance! And in most areas, this Vac doesn’t disappoint.
It’s a heavy-duty wet and dry garage vacuum that can handle plenty of the toughest cleaning challenges, thanks to it’s 5.5 Peak HP motor.
The Beast’s 7ft hose and 18ft power cord, it has 25ft of cleaning range. Whilst that may only be average, as is its 5-gallon capacity tank. It’s designed to be easily portable.
With that tank being made of very lightweight, yet still durable, polypropylene, the whole vac weighs just an incredible 13.5lb.
It’s one of the best-looking garage vacuums around. A real wall-mounted mean machine that will look the part in any garage or workshop space. For both wet and dry messes, it really is the business!
Features
- HP: 5.5 Peak
- Capacity: 5-gallon
- Weight: 13.5lb
- Hose length: 7ft
- Power cord: 18ft
What We Like About Vacmaster Professional Wet/Dry Vacuum
That polypropylene tank is a real winner. It provides all the necessary durability, but without any unnecessary excess weight. Along with its 18 feet of power cord and 7 feet of hose, providing a 25ft cleaning range, it has impressive and useful portability and flexibility.
It’s impressive 5.5 Peak HP motor is a high-water lift model, improving its performance even more. Truly living up to its ‘Beast’ name, that it proudly says on its body.
Vacmaster Professional Wet/Dry Vacuum’s 5-gallon capacity means that you won’t have to constantly empty its bag. Making it a low maintenance choice.
We were also impressed by its included accessories. We liked the kink-resistant hose. And you get a crevice tool, an extension wand, utility nozzle, and a car nozzle, that can all be neatly stored on-board. The package also includes a foam wet filter, as well as a fine dust cartridge filter, along with an air & noise diffuser.
What We Don’t Like About Vacmaster Professional Wet/Dry Vacuum
The second problem is the suction tubes do not stay attached. I don’t care how much you squeeze them together, the plastic is very slippery and as you are vacuuming, the wide nozzle attachment falls off the tube constantly
Just as with other Vacmaster models, its mobility can be restrictive because it doesn’t have wheels.
It has a larger than average 2″ diameter hose, which makes it incompatible with standard replacements or other brand’s hoses.
PROS
- Wall mount gives stability to the vacuum, which, since it isn’t too big is a nice addition
- The width of the hose is great since it doesn’t clog easily
- Easy to install on wall
- Works very well for cleaning out cars: sucking water out of carpets, cleaning air filters
CONS
- Suction is very, very weak, especially after reading all the reviews about how powerful the suction is for this machine!
- I had to re-vacuum the car with the larger shop-vac because the Vacmaster left so much dirt on the floor
- Does not perform as the reviews claim
