Coredy specializes in manufacturing and selling robotic vacuum cleaners. They strive to develop robot vacuums with innovative solutions to those daily – and rather draining – chores.
They make and sell a handful of different robotic vacuum cleaners that are designed for a particular need. For example, if you are looking for a robot vacuum cleaner that tackles pet hair and allergies, you will go for a vacuum cleaner that has been designed to fix just that.
Why do people invest in robot vacuum cleaners? What exactly is so special about them? Below are some of the benefits of having a robot vacuum cleaner:
Convenience
Robot vacuum cleaners do not need to be operated by anyone. You could be busy in the kitchen, relaxing watching television, or even out of the house while the robot vacuum cleaner is on.
Compact
Finding a space to put your vacuum cleaner away can be difficult in small apartments. Stick vacuums tend to weigh a few pounds and are rather tall. Robot vacuum cleaners, on the other hand, are small enough to pack away in cupboards or even on a shelf.
Gets into Hard to Reach Areas
If you have low furniture in your house, then you will know how hard it is to have to move it all around the furniture every time you vacuum. Robot vacuum cleaners are designed with this in mind and are never taller than 4 inches tall. The Coredy R3500 vacuum that we are reviewing in this article is just 2.7 inches tall.
Works on All Floor Types
Most households these days have a mixture of hard floors and carpets. Robot vacuum cleaners work on rugs, low and medium-pile carpets, and on treated wooden floors or tiles.
Time-Saving
Not only is the vacuum cleaner a time saver because you don’t need to move it around the room, but it also makes the weekly house cleaning much more manageable. Those of you that are used to cleaning two or three times every week might find yourself cleaning the floor only once when you use the Coredy R3500 vacuum daily.
Sets Boundaries
Robot vacuum cleaners have sensors on the front, sides, and rear of the vacuum. This allows them to detect obstacles in the room and memorize them for next time.
In this review, we will be discovering all there is to know about the Coredy R3500 robot vacuum cleaner. You will learn what features are brilliant, and which aren’t so desirable. So, let us begin.

A Deep Dive into the R3500 Coredy Robot Vacuum Cleaner
To date, Coredy has more than five vacuum cleaner models available on the market. Coredy designed their vacuum cleaners with the customer in mind. Coredy’s vacuum cleaners are very simple in their design and are built to a very high standard.
The Coredy R3500 has scheduled cleaning and a large dust bin of 550ml so that it can clean your home while you are out without needing to be emptied all day. The R3500 vacuum cleaner was designed to give you a little helping hand and minimize the amount of cleaning you have to do daily.
Its mission is to vacuum as much dirt and debris as possible from hard floors and carpet. Robot vacuum cleaners have a reputation for having low suction and not performing very well on carpet floors. That is not the case with the Coredy R3500 robot vacuum cleaner. You can use this vacuum on all floor types and on low and medium-pile carpets, which makes it extremely versatile.
Who’s It For?
Many of us would find using a robot vacuum cleaner useful, and it might be easier to start by mentioning who this vacuum isn’t for. It is not suitable for anyone with high-pile carpet floors; the R3500 struggles to move smoothly along the high-pile carpet and gets stuck frequently.
Households with small children would benefit from using a vacuum cleaner such as the Coredy R3500. The R3500 can pick up some heavy and large pieces of debris, so if your children drop bits of food or bring in dirt from the garden, the R3500 will be able to pick the majority of it up.
If you are not home most of the day and would like to come back to a relatively clean home, then a robot vacuum is right up your street. Most robot vacuum cleaners can be scheduled to clean at specific times of the day, and the R3500 is one of those vacuum cleaners.
In short, it is safe to say that most of us don’t particularly enjoy vacuuming and in reality, we could easily find something else to do instead. Robot vacuums that have a scheduling feature and can get on with it without you even having to remember to turn it on are an excellent help to us all!
What We Like About R3500 Coredy Robot Vacuum Cleaner
The Coredy R3500 vacuum cleaner comes with an extra filter, a charging dock, and two spare rotating brushes. We love how it just takes itself back to the charging dock when it is low on battery. Once it is fully charged, it will resume cleaning where it left off.
It operates pretty silently, which is a huge plus for families with small children or babies. The noise won’t disturb you if you are working from home, and you can have meetings and important phone calls with the R3500 vacuuming in the room.
It can clean up a lot of dust and is a great maintenance cleaning appliance. Less dust in the house will result in your feeling better, fewer headaches, and prevents blocked sinuses.
Cat and dog hairs are picked up quickly with the Coredy R3500. Using this robot vacuum cleaner on a daily basis is a must with pets in the house. Strands do not get tangled up in the brushes either, which is a rarity when it comes to robot vacuum cleaners.
The vacuum makes its own way back to the charging dock when it is low on battery; however, it takes about 120 minutes for that to happen. Having such a long battery life means that the R3500 can finish cleaning everything you have scheduled for it before it runs out of juice.
If you have treated hardwood floors, then the vacuum will not scratch or damage them in any way. It moves smoothly from hardwood floors on to rugs without getting stuck.
Thank goodness for the remote control! Sometimes the vacuum misses a spot, or an extra dirty area of the floor needs some more attention. The remote control allows you to send the vacuum to a dirty spot all from the comfort of your couch.
What We Don’t Like About R3500 Coredy Robot Vacuum Cleaner
It can get a little lost; this happens if you move furniture around frequently. It bumps itself against chairs and tables and can sometimes get so lost that it can’t find its way back to the docking station.
The ‘Max Suction’ setting must be activated using a button every time you turn it on. There isn’t an indicator light to show if it is working or not. Unfortunately, there isn’t much of a difference in suction power between Max Suction and the standard settings.
When the vacuum moves from a hard floor onto rugs and low pile carpet, the brush roll and wheels might damage the edges of the rug or carpet over time. There is a way around this, simply put the vacuum on the carpet and create a cleaning path that does not include the edges of the rug. The only problem with doing that is that if you aren’t at home or in the same room as the vacuum, you won’t be able to move it from floor type to floor type.
Another problem that we came across is that the vacuum may completely miss a huge area of the room. This usually happens if the vacuum is operating in a larger than usual place and isn’t really an issue when it comes to smaller spaces.
Over time, the vacuum’s battery life deteriorates. When the vacuum is brand new, it has a brilliant battery life of 120 minutes, but after a year or two, it can barely run for half an hour before hurrying back to its charging dock.
PROS
- Easy to use
- Has lots of settings to choose from

What’s Included?
The vacuum cleaner comes with a charging dock and HEPA filter. It also has one remote control to make using it that much easier. The vacuum requires four side brushes and the main brush to clean correctly, the vacuum comes with the brushes already in place. These brushes are replaceable, so as soon as they become matted, get yourself a new set.
The R3500 is lithium-ion battery-powered and chargeable. The vacuum cleaner comes with a lithium-ion battery as well as AAA batteries for the remote control.
You won’t need to buy any vacuum bags as the Coredy R3500 has a 550 ml dust bin that can be emptied out straight into the trash. Having a sizable bagless dust bin saves a lot of money over time.
Overview Of Features
For such a small and dainty robot vacuum, it has mighty features and settings that are easy to use and convenient. Below is an overview of the Coredy R3500’s features:
Ultra Slim
The Coredy R3500 vacuum cleaner has an ultra-slim design. It is only 2.7 inches tall, making it an excellent cleaning appliance for vacuuming under furniture and getting into all of those hard to reach nooks and crannies.
Quiet
Finally, a robot vacuum that doesn’t make any noise! This vacuum is ultra-quiet and will not disturb sleeping children, interfere with conversations, or bother you if you work from home.
When small vacuums have such a significant suction power, they usually make a lot of noise. That is not the case with the Coredy R3500 vacuum cleaner.
1700Pa
1700Pa is extreme suction power. It is designed to pick up food crumbs, dirt, debris, dust, and fine hair.
550ML Dust Bin
With more than half a liter dust bin capacity, the Coredy R3500 vacuum can be left to vacuum for a long time without having to empty its dust bin. This is a brilliant feature for many reasons, but the main benefit of having such a large dust bin is that it can vacuum without you being in the house.
120 Minute Run Time
Usually, battery-powered robot vacuum cleaners have a run time of about 90 minutes. This vacuum has an impressive 120 minutes worth of vacuuming time on a full charge.
Washable HEPA Filter
Washable filters are becoming increasingly popular. Appliances that have a washable HEPA filter sometimes have a higher price ticket; however, they save the consumer money in the long run.
Anti-Drop Sensor
This feature is all about keeping the robot safe. The feature allows the vacuum to sense when it is close to the edge of a step or approaching up to a large gap.
Scheduled Cleaning
Using the remote control, set a cleaning schedule for the robot vacuum. The vacuum will vacuum the desired area at the time that you request it regardless of whether you are at home or not.
Anti-Scratch Glass Top
Although the top of the vacuum cleaner is made out of glass, its aesthetics is protected due to the anti-scratch glass used in the design.
Weighs Just 8.95 Pounds
For such a small vacuum cleaner, almost 9 pounds sounds quite heavy; however, its weight adds to its durability.

A: This is a hard question to answer as it mainly depends on the debris being picked up. If you intend to use your robot vacuum on the hardwood floor, clean any sand or broken glass off the floor before putting the robot to work.
Buying Guide
When shopping around for robot vacuum cleaners, the vast choice can be overwhelming. We have put together a buying guide to give you a helping hand.
Battery Life
As with any electric appliances, battery life is critical. If the robot has a long battery life, it can get more vacuuming done in a day. The bigger the battery in the robot vacuum, the better it is at cleaning.
Model
Not all robot vacuum cleaner models are good. It is best practice to opt for a vacuum cleaner that is manufactured by a well-known company.
Popular vacuum cleaner manufacturers usually have a robot vacuum cleaner on their portfolio, so check them out first. Robot vacuums can have a very high price tag, so work out a budget and stick to it.
Apps and Remote Controls
Robot vacuum cleaners must be controlled somehow. They either have an app or remote control, so you must think about what is the most convenient option for you.
Apps are a modern way of controlling robot vacuums. You can set a schedule using the app while you are on the go making it very convenient. Remote controls are good, however, you won’t be able to control your vacuum when you are not at home.
Survey Your House
How much carpet do you have at home? Are your floors mainly hardwood, or are they marble? Purchasing a vacuum cleaner that is suitable for your floor type is important. Using an incompatible vacuum cleaner on your floor could damage it beyond repair as well as not move or clean well on the floor type.
Budget
You can easily spend upwards of $1000 on a robot vacuum cleaner, and just as easily spend just $150. Choose a budget that meets your pocket and dig around for a vacuum that fits. There are plenty of high-quality robot vacuums on the market, so do not feel pressure to spend more than you can.
