MinSu is relatively unknown to the large public. As a matter of fact, I’ve never heard about this company until GearBest contacted me for sending to VacuumsGuide a testing sample. The TR2015 is without a doubt one of the most interesting vacuum cleaner robots in the market today. It resembles well with the Jisiwei S+ which I’ve reviewed a couple of months ago. However, this product is not a copycat of the latter, it’s more of a practical approach. It doesn’t come with the video camera and the control app which you can find in the S+, but 90% of the people don’t even use or need these 2 things. Let get down to business; here’s what you’ll know after spending 2 minutes on reading this story:
- what are the full product specs
- how efficient is the unit
- how it compares with other similar robots
- from where to buy it

Specifications
Suction power
The MinSu TR2015 has a maximum suction power value of 800 Pa. If you are unsure about what this value means, check out this article. This is a decent number for an automatic cleaning robot, and comes in handy when dealing with light sweeping and vacuuming tasks. Having a wide brushroll allows the unit to get to dirt lodged in inaccessible areas such as corners, under furniture and along wall edges. It performed admirably when dealing with cheerios and rice. Smaller particles such as cornflour require the unit to work on max mode (in the video, I’ve tested the robot in standard mode). Paper is tough for almost any robot vacuum out there, so there’s that. Ultimately, I find the suction power of the TR2015 to be comfortable enough, suitable for most cleaning tasks. The best thing about it is that it can work under 53 db (according to my iPhone).
Battery specifications
This vacuum cleaning robot runs on rechargeable Lithium Ion batteries with a 2000 mAh capacity. This battery can run continuously for about an hour and a half, depending on the cleaning mode selected and the size of the space you are having cleaned. In this time, it can cover 2000 sq ft without a problem. The MinSu monitors its own power usage and once it detects that it is running out of power, it automatically docks and recharges before continuing. The recharging process itself takes between 200 and 300 minutes when running uninterrupted and is usually dependent on the plugs’ power output capacity. As you see in the video, the robot “sees” the charging bay from more than 16 ft away.
Dirt capacity
The MinSu TR2015 robot has a dust capacity of 17 oz (500 ml). The dust and other particles collected during the suctioning process go directly to a dust box that needs to be cleared out regularly to prevent build up that could compromise the cleaning robot’s efficiency. The recipient is spacious and easy to clean. Removing the bin is also easier than in most robovacs.
Filtration system
The vacuum cleaner runs on a double filtration system. The first part is a basic wide pore filter material that traps large particles such as hair, pet fur and pieces of paper. The second part of this system has a High Efficiency Particulate Arrestance (HEPA) filter with a PM 2.5 value. This means that particles that are 2.5mm or larger cannot pass through the filter. This is important for filtering fine dust particles and pathogens found on your surfaces and ensures that the air flowing out of the suction system is as pure as it can be to avoid contaminating your home in the process of cleaning it.
Weight and physical dimensions
The device weighs 5.5 lbs (2.5 kg). This lightweight nature contributes to its climbing ability where the robotic vacuum cleaner is capable of going up a 15 degree slope while on its cleaning route. In terms of physical dimensions, it measures 12.99 inches in radius and 3.07 inches in height. This small and compact design is what makes it possible for the vacuum cleaning robot to maneuver its way through tight spots to get to the dirt hiding under furniture and other inaccessible spots.
Accessories included
The vacuum cleaner comes with a variety of separate accessories that are designed to help it function more effectively. One of these accessories is the charging base I was talking about, and 2 stickies to glue it on a baseboard. Cleaning accessories are also included with this robot: 2 side brushes, a mopping pad + 1 extra cloth, a cleaning brush and an extra filter net. Last but not least, the package also contains a remote control with batteries.
Maneuverability and ease of use
The MinSu TR 2015 robotic vacuum cleaner runs as an automatic unit without any need for human control. All you have to do is to set the cleaning mode you want it to follow and allow it to do its own thing. It has special sensors that will prevent incidents such as falling off edges or bumping into walls and furniture. The combination of this special sensor technology and the slim design give it great maneuverability for effective cleaning. You can also use the remote control function or voice control to monitor the cleaning process and change between different cleaning modes.
Cleaning modes
Spearing of the cleaning modes, it has 4 of them. The first and my recommendation is Auto cleaning where you allow the robotic vacuum cleaner to use its sensors and do its own thing. The second is the Spot cleaning which allows you to focus the device’s efforts on one particular spot at a time. The third is the Border cleaning function where the suctioning tubes are adjusted and set at an angle that allows them to collect dirt from corners and hidden edges. Finally, there is the Schedule cleaning (which is not really a cleaning mode per se), where the vacuum cleaner automatically starts or stops the cleaning at a predetermined time.
Warranty
This product comes with a 1-year limited warranty. The warranty and the nature of the possible compensation depends a lot on which wholesaler you get it from. Web malls such as Amazon and GearBest respect their customers and completely honor their warranty policies.

Final comments and VGMrv
After all is said and done, there is no denying the fact that the MinSu TR2015 vacuum cleaner robot is one good product. The efficient suction power and multiple cleaning modes mean that whether it is a routine carpet vacuuming or the once in a while spring cleaning, you will have results you can be proud to show off. The light weight nature and smooth maneuverability are also features to look forward to as it makes your work a whole lot easier than it already is. Bottom line, it is a great product and is worth considering if you are in the market for a vacuum cleaner. Here’s my VGMrv:
